Lake Narracan Resort
Australia
Lake Narracan Resort, Australia is envisioned as a master-planned hospitality retreat shaped by the calm, expansive presence of the lake and its surrounding natural landscape. The scope of work encompassed the complete planning of the resort precinct, including low-density residential hospitality retreats ranging from one to three bedrooms, their interior environments, and supporting commercial and communal amenities.
The primary design intent was to establish a serene, nature-first destination where luxury is defined by space, privacy, and connection to the landscape rather than excess. Built forms are carefully distributed across the site to preserve view corridors toward the water, minimize visual impact, and maintain a sense of retreat. Each unit is oriented to maximize daylight, lake views, and cross-ventilation, reinforcing a seamless indoor–outdoor experience.
Materiality and interiors are kept warm, refined, and understated, natural textures, soft palettes, and tactile finishes create calm, restorative spaces suited to short stays as well as longer retreats. Commercial components are integrated subtly within the master plan, ensuring functionality without disrupting the resort’s tranquil character.
The result is a cohesive lakeside development where planning, architecture, and interiors work together to frame nature as the primary luxury, offering guests a quiet, immersive escape rooted in serenity, comfort, and place.
