Zaraj House, Islamabad, is conceived as a bold contemporary residence defined by layered volumes, deep cantilevers, and a rich interplay of materials. Exposed concrete textures are paired with warm timber soffits, vertical screens, and stone cladding to create depth, shade, and visual rhythm. Generous balconies and framed openings strengthen the indoor–outdoor relationship, while integrated landscaping softens the massing. The design balances solidity with openness, resulting in a refined urban home that responds to climate, privacy, and modern living.
